Hello, I’m Samantha

I’m a professional dancer who experienced a debilitating accident that threatened my mobility and professional career.

Fortunately, I already had various tools at hand to heal my body and worked in cooperation with my physiotherapist to recover in a fraction of the time it took his other patients to heal.

Having taught movement therapy for over 20 years while working with industry leaders, I have distilled my experience through my work with people all over the world.

I was once in a similar position many of my clients are…

While teaching a Pilates class, a 900-kg mirrored WALL came crashing down on us all.

Four of us were trapped underneath and hospitalised with serious injuries. I suffered a crushed pelvis, fractured ribs, and PTSD that made healing that much more out of reach. The accident led me to work side by side in collaboration with my physiotherapist, helping his patients. Some of the pathologies I commonly saw included neurological disorders, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, orthopaedics, and stroke survivors.

My natural passion for human physiology has helped me to develop strong physical mastery.

I had never suffered an injury throughout my professional dance career, nor broken a single bone in my body, until the day that wall came down. I found myself lying in a hospital bed with no physiotherapy support and I knew immediately I had to take the healing process into my own hands.

Making change is never easy

Making change is never easy. However, I have done so myself in the past, leaving the UK to spend 3 years in North America studying under the founders of ‘Tribal Style Belly Dance’ and 4 years touring globally with a Los Angeles dance company.

Years later, I moved to France, learned a new language, and had two children in a foreign country. I have learned that making big shifts and taking a leap of faith will lead you in the right direction.

Having survived the accident and come back stronger, I know first hand the human body’s capacity to heal itself is extraordinary and is full of unseen potential.

Samantha is extremely adept with her conceptual ideas. Not cookie-cutter basic”
