Non linear movement games for longevity

“I am 77 years old and have been training with Samantha for one year now.

Her method is surprisingly gentle yet powerful. She leads me in movement exercises that I thought impossible considering my physical condition (4 lumbar and one dorsal vertebrae broken plus 2 artificial hips)

I became much more aware of my body and regained the balance I had lost. Each exercise is adapted to me as an individual, giving me a feeling of well-being and she encourages me to apply it in my daily life”

— Mme Blanchard - France

Spinal cord ischemia recovery

“Following spinal cord ischemia on the right side, I had balance problems and dysfunctions in my right leg. I was recommended physiotherapy sessions, where the physio suggested I try movement sessions with Samantha.

Reluctant at first, believing I was going to recover by traditional strength training alone, I quickly got hooked by Samantha's playful approach. Very gently, through movements that I never imagined or tried before, my balance functions began to return. Where does she find so many different exercises? Each session is different.

Today, daily movements are less difficult for me. At 60, some doctors told me that I had to live with my pain due to my age and my spinal cord injury. Samantha does not agree with this statement and showed me we don't have to live with pain even at a certain age. With one appointment per week and daily exercises (1/2 hour per day) I feel much better.

Today I want to say a big thank you to the physio who referred me to Samantha and a big thank you to Samantha for helping me to regain balance and sensations in my leg”

Words from the B2R Internship:

“Samantha has given me tools to actually notice and correct things rather than just patch things up, which is what I was doing with standard physio”

“By making us conscious of the different elements of our bodies and how they can and should work together, Samantha has introduced us to a range of movements and capabilities we didn't know were in us.”

This is helping us to approach our ninth decade with much increased confidence - and decreased stiffness.  Samantha's verbal and physical articulation in conveying her guidance to us make our sessions with her highly stimulating and  pleasurable.

“I just finished your online Spinal Waves course. I so loved it. I feel like my hips and ribcage have a personality now.”

— Pilates studio owner. Hawaii

“Together Samantha and I set up and monitor exercise programs for rehabilitation and medical purposes for various patients,

either in groups or individually, whether in neurology (Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, stroke), rheumatology (chronic spinal pain), or traumatology (fractures, post-surgery).

Her training as a dancer and Pilates instructor is very complementary to the strict medical side of physiotherapy. Her classes bring a very interesting touch of coordination, balance, and flexibility. Her great personal experience and physical mastery bring a lot to my practice of physiotherapy and osteo sports”

— L Gauthie. Physio Practice Owner - France

FM Practice for Parkinson’s disease

“Sessions with Samantha make me feel like I am my own osteopath. I become active in my movements rather than passive.

I become aware of my body parts as I move.  I am better able to relieve tension in my shoulders (that have been injured in the past)

Thanks to the precise explanations and imagery used, it is easier for me to self correct my posture and manage my pain.  It’s a real relief as my profession is very physical and I can now work with ease”
